Behavioral Health Technician (Mon–Fri | Weekends Off)

Pay: $18.00 Per Hour | Full-Time

Are you passionate about helping children and adolescents succeed? New Day, Inc. is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Behavioral Health Technician to join our Day Treatment team.

In this role, you'll work directly with youth in a structured therapeutic environment, providing support, supervision, transportation, and assistance with educational and behavioral goals. What You'll Do

• Provide supervision, support, and care for youth in a Day Treatment setting
• Build positive, therapeutic relationships with participants
• Assist with educational activities, academics, and one-on-one support
• Support therapists and supervisors during therapeutic programming
• Transport participants to and from homes, appointments, activities, and treatment facilities using company vehicles
• Monitor participant behavior and document significant observations
• Respond appropriately to behavioral, mental health, and emergency situations within training guidelines
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment
• Complete progress notes and incident documentation as required
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training

Qualifications

Required

• Must be at least 21 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Valid Montana Driver's License
• Acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass criminal background and child abuse background checks
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Preferred

• Experience working with youth
• Experience in behavioral health, mental health, childcare, social services, education, or human services
• Bachelor's degree in a Human Services-related field
• Experience working with emotionally disturbed youth or substance abuse treatment populations

Certifications

Training and certification provided by New Day, Inc.:

• CPR Certification
• First Aid Certification
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training
